Sophomore (2014): Appeared in three games for the Hilltoppers…registered seven at-bats…collected 18 putouts and three assists on the season.
 
Redshirt Freshman (2013): Appeared in five games in his first season as a Hilltopper…had a fielding percentage of 1.000 with seven putouts and two assists.

Prep: Played his high school baseball at Bellaire High School in Houston, Texas…was a three-year varsity letterman…his junior season he hit .300 and had 10 RBI’s with two homeruns…his senior season, his batting average was .343 while bringing in 21 runs and adding four homeruns…helped his team to multiple district titles and appearances in the regional round of the playoffs…he was named to the all-district first-team his senior season…member of the Bellaire Men’s Service Club Organization…was awarded the Bellaire Methodist Junior Scholarship.

Personal: Daniel Mark Ofield was born on Jan. 31, 1993…son of Mark and Karla Ofield of Houston, Texas…has two siblings Sean (27) and Sam (22)…plans to study kinesiology with career hopes of becoming a physical therapist…enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing the guitar…his biggest athletic thrill was hitting a grand slam in first varsity game during the 2009 state playoffs.
