Junior 2015: Made six starts in 15 appearances for the Hilltoppers…finished the season 5-0 with a 5.04 ERA and one save…Pitched 55.1 innings with 39 strikeouts, 12 walks, and an opponent batting average of .290…best outing came against Lindenwood (2/8) in a seven-inning win with seven strikeouts, one walk, and two earned runs.
 
Redshirt Sophomore 2014 (Temple JC): Appeared in 15 games on the mound, making 12 starts for the Leopards…recorded an 8-3 record with 47 strikeouts, two shutouts and an 1.85 earned-run average in 73.0 innings pitched…also recorded one save on the season…named first-team all-conference, first-team al-region, regional pitcher of the year, and honorable mention all-America…helped lead team to NJCAA Region V Tournament.
 
Sophomore 2013 (Temple JC): Redshirted the season.
 
Freshman 2012 (Temple JC): Appeared in 19 games on the mound for the Leopards…registered a 6-3 record with 39 strikeouts and a 2.16 ERA in 50.0 innings pitched.
 
Prep: Lettered four season for head coach Adam Foster at Georgetown High School…helped lead team to four-straight state playoffs appearances…his freshman season his team advanced to the regional final…the team also won three district titles during that span.
 
Personal: Eric Randall Hester was born April 6, 1993…son of Randy and Dana Hester…has two siblings: Ashlee (18) and Amber (15)…plans to major in Business finance at St. Edward’s with plans on entering the banking industry…also enjoys fish, golf, and playing the guitar…his biggest athletic thrill is winning an 18-inning game with a walk-off hit.
