Redshirt Junior 2015: Took the field in 22 games with starts for coach Penders…recorded four RBI in 17 at-bats…finished the season with two sacrifice flies, and a pair of sacrifice bunts.
 
Redshirt Sophomore 2014: Appeared in 13 games making six starts for the Hilltoppers…registered a .207 batting average with four runs scored and five RBI…used his defensive skills to tally a 1.000 fielding percentage on 31 chances.
 
Sophomore 2013: Did not play.
 
Freshman 2012 (Texarkana JC): Lettered at Texarkana Junior College.
 
Prep: Lettered two seasons at Westbury Christian High School…compiled a .357 batting average while scoring 38 runs his junior year…he also tallied 35 hits , 24 RBI and was named Varsity Newcomer of the Year – All-Houston Area…upped his batting average to .481 while registering six doubles and two home runs.
 
Personal: Michael James Davis was born August 8, 1992…son of Eric Davis and Jan Youngclas of Sugar Land, Texas…has one sibling: Matt…is studying accounting at St. Edward’s…also enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing with his dog, Bailey…his biggest athletic thrill was hitting a grand slam during his senior year after being away form baseball for four months.
