 Junior 2015: Took the field in 40 games, and started 36 for the Hilltoppers, holding down the hot corner at third base…batted .218 with 20 runs on 26 hits and 22 RBI…legged out six doubles, one triple, and hit one homerun…best game of the year at Newman (5/1), going 3-for-3, just a homerun shy of the cycle, with two runs and four RBI.

Sophomore 2014: In his second season he appeared and started in all 55 games for the Hilltoppers…registered 33 runs and 55 hits in 185 at-bats…registered three homeruns while recording 41 RBI, a .411 slugging percentage and a .297 batting average.

Freshman 2013: Saw action in 57 games while starting in 55 in his first season at St. Edward’s…recorded 58 hits on 181 at bats for a .320 batting; cracking the top-10 in the Heartland Conference…also in the top-10 in the conference with a .413 on-base percentage…had a slugging percentage of .459; good enough for fourth in the conference…had a breakout game against conference foe Newman (03/30/13) when he recorded four hits and scored three runs…tallied a three-hit game against UA-Fort Smith (05/09/13) during the Heartland Conference Tournament…played a large role in helping the Hilltoppers advance to the NCAA DII World Series with three hits against Texas A&M-Kingsville (05/19/13) during the NCAA South Central Regional Championship game.

Prep: Played four years of baseball at Round Rock High School for coach John Carter…his senior season he finished the season with a .380 batting average and .560 slugging percentage…had an on base percentage of .474…recorded 28 hits and brought in 28 runs…had a walk-off home run to put the team in the playoffs and another walk-off home run to win a series in the playoffs…was named first-team all-district, second-team all-Centex and the Austin Statesman Player of the Week…his team advanced to the regional semifinals that season…played on the Austin Area Baseball Coaches Association North All-Star Team.
Personal: Dylan Thomas Watts was born on Oct. 8, 1993…son of Thomas and Connie Watts of Round Rock, Texas…plans to study business at St. Edward’s and hopes to have a career as CEO of Mobile Instruments…enjoys hunting, fishing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and playing the guitar…his biggest athletic thrill was a walk-off three run home run against Stony Point to clinch a playoff berth.
