Junior (2012): Played in 17 games while starting in five for the Hilltoppers…had a batting average of .125 and a slugging percentage of.167…had three hits and four RBI on the season…recorded a hit and two RBI against St. Mary’s (04/21/12).
 
Sophomore (2011): Played in a total of 26 games while starting 13 during his second season…had a team high batting average of .453…also led the team with a .594 slugging percentage…had 29 hits and scored 14 runs…had two doubles and two triples while adding a home run…finished the season with 10 RBI…had one stretch of hits in nine-consecutive at-bats which is a school record.
 
Freshman (2010): In his first season with the Hilltoppers he saw action in seven games…recorded two hits and brought in one run…finished the season with an on base percentage of .400…his lone RBI came against Panhandle State (04/18/10).
 
Prep: Played four years of baseball at The Woodlands College Park High School…helped his team advance to the playoffs and become regional finalists in 2011.
 
Personal: Joseph William Pirozzolo was born on June 12, 1991…son of Francis and Priscilla Pirozzolo of The Woodlands, Texas…has one sibling: John (31)…currently studying psychology at St. Edward’s with career hopes of becoming a cognitive psychologist…enjoys playing golf…his biggest athletic thrill was advancing to the 2012 NCAA Regional Tournament.
