·      Heartland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll (Spring 2011)
 
Redshirt Junior (2012): Saw action in four games…pitched a total of 2.1 innings and finished with an ERA of 11.57…gave up seven hits and had a strikeout throughout his time on the mound.
 
Junior (2011): Redshirted the season.
 
Sophomore (Manchester CC) (2010): Appeared in 28 games…registered a 3.78 earned run average while striking out 14 batters in 16.2 innings of work.
 
Freshman (Fairfield) (2009): Played under head coach John Slosar.
 
Prep: Played four years of baseball at East Catholic High School in Manchester, Conn.…recorded a batting average of .508 during his senior year…that batting average was good enough to earn the school record beating current St. Edward’s baseball coach Rob Penders…led his team to an 18-3 record and finished eighth in the state…also lettered in basketball.
 
Personal: Andrew John Rataic was born on Nov. 5, 1989…son of Greg and Janice Rataic of Manchester, Conn.…has one sibling: Bethany (25)…currently studying political science with a concentration in pre-law…hopes to become a successful lobbyist…his hobbies include fishing, snowboarding, sailing, playing soccer, and pond hockey.
