Freshman (2014): Redshirted the season.
 
Prep: Played four years of baseball and a year of basketball at McKinney High School in McKinney, Texas…helped his team advance to the second round of the playoffs his senior season…acquired the Gabe Nesbitt Scholarship…a part of the yearbook, broadcasting, headhunters, and Young Life organizations…won first place at the 2012 ATPI action sports photography contest…named 2013 Rotary Club Student of the Month…was an Honor Roll student in 2010 and 2011.

Personal: Gunnar Nelson Lund was born on May 16, 1995…son of Eric and Beth Lund of McKinney, Texas…has three siblings: Thor (22), Alexa (18), and Lean (18)…plans to study business finance at St. Edward’s…his hobbies include playing the guitar and photography and videography…his biggest athletic thrill involves being a part of an extra inning game during the playoffs.
