Redshirt Junior (2014): Appeared in 15 games on the mound for the Hilltoppers…registered 14 strikeouts in 15.0 innings pitched…finished the season with a .200 batting average against…led the team with three saves.
 
Junior (2013): Redshirted the season due to injury.
 
Sophomore 2012 (Akron): Made 16 appearances on the mound for the Zips, with all but one coming in relief…was 0-1 with a 4.70 earned-run average…logged 30.2 innings pitched, striking out 19, while walking only 12.
 
Freshman 2011 (Akron): Redshirted the season.
 
Prep: Played two years of baseball at Avon Lake High School…was named to the all-conference first-team, and honorable mention All-Lorain County his senior season…went 3-1 that season.

Personal: Daniel Jacob Becks was born on June 19, 1991…son of Tom and Susan Becks of Avon Lake, Ohio…has one sibling: Josh (24)…plans to study finance with hopes of pursuing a career in business…enjoys playing golf and Ping-Pong.
