Junior (2012): Played in 48 games while starting 45 during his third season as a Hilltopper…recorded a .320 batting average…was second on the team with 56 hits and eight home runs…recorded 12 doubles and two triples…his best game came against Angelo State (05/18/12) during the NCAA Regional Tournament when he had five hits and five RBI…he also contributed two runs to help the Hilltoppers secure the win…for the entire regional, he tallied a .579 (11-19) batting average with six runs scored and 12 RBI in four games played.
 
Sophomore (2011): In his second season with the Hilltoppers, he played and started in all 51 games…was second on the team with a .368 batting average…led the team with 74 hits and 48 runs scored…also led the team with 16 doubles…second on the team with five home runs and 46 RBI…finished the season with a slugging percentage of .532…his best game came against Panhandle State (03/11/11) when he recorded three hits, scored four runs and drove in four more runs during five at bats.
 
Freshman (2010): As a freshman, he saw action in 52 games while starting 46 for the Hilltoppers…had a batting average of .316 while recording 43 hits…added six doubles, two triples, and three home runs…had is best game of the season against Panhandle State (04/18/10) when he had three hits and scored three runs…he added a homerun during that game.
 
Prep: Played four years of baseball at Dripping Springs High School…in 2009 he was named to the all Cen-Tex first-team…in that same season he was invited to play in the high school all star game…helped his team win the district championship for four-straight seasons…also lettered in football and basketball.
 
Personal: Taylor Lee Johnson was born on Aug. 21, 1990…son of Blaine and Marilyn Johnson of Dripping Springs, Texas…has one sibling: Bailey (19)…currently studying business administration with career hopes of becoming a firefighter…enjoys playing baseball and spending time with family and friends…his biggest athletic thrill is stealing a base.
