-St. Edward's started doubles play with two disappointing defeats to Texas State at the #1 and #3 positions. At #2 doubles
PAIGE RACHEL and
RAFAELA HAEGELE took their opponents to a tiebreaker before falling, 7-4 in extra play.
-Haegele lost her first set against Rachel Baldree, but rallied to win the second, 6-3, and take home the match in the super tiebreaker, 10-6.

KATHERINE SULLIVAN and
SAMMY SIEGEL was very close to forcing a third set, as Sullivan took Gabriela Rojas to a tiebreaker in no. 5 singles before falling 7-4. Siegel was down 5-0, before rallying to win four-straight games against Mariana Perez at No. 6 singles. Perez would end the threat with a 6-4 victory.
