"I was really happy with how the team played today," head coach Kendall Brooks said. "We played an improved UTPB team and got a huge advantage going up 3-0 after doubles, but we struggled in some singles matches. We quickly turned around to face Western New Mexico. The girls responded really well, and had great energy. We played much better in singles play against a quality regional opponent. We are really carrying some momentum and confidence heading into our tough Spring Break road trip."

With the two victories, St. Edward's has now rattled off seven straight wins. The Hilltoppers will take the week off before heading to Florida for three matches during Spring Break. They will face #32 Palm Beach Atlantic, #10 Nova Southeastern, and #2 Barry.
