Junior (2013): Played and started in all 30 matches along with 109 total sets…finished sixth in the Heartland Conference with 322 kills…second best on the team with 372 digs on the season…tallied 15 double-doubles which was the best on the team…finished with a team leading 375 points for the season…averaged 2.95 kills per set…boasted an average of 3.41 digs per set…had season -high 20 kills against Tarleton State (10/22)…second best on the team with 32 service aces…finished with 42 blocks which was fifth best on the team…her best match was against Dallas Baptist (11/9) where she tallied 15 kills 28 digs and 3 assists…finished the season with a seven-game streak of double-digit kills and double-digit digs.
Sophomore (2012): Saw action in all 28 matches while starting 26 in her second season on the Hilltop…recorded a team high 269 kills and was second on the team with a 2.89 kills per set average…she tallied 18 service aces which ranked second on the team…was second on the team with 274 digs and a 2.95 digs per set average…finished the season with a with a school record .966 reception percentage…her best performance came against Incarnate Word (10/30) when she recorded a season-high 21 kills and 21.5 points…she finished the season tallying double figures in the kill column in the final four matches
Freshman (2011): During her first year on the Hilltop she saw action in 20 matches…she started two of 20 matches… registered 75.5 points for an average 1.42 points per set…she recorded 66 kills and 56 digs on the year
Club: (2008) Third place in Open Division of Junior Olympic Tournament…(2009) 17
th place in Open Division of Junior Olympic Tournament, while being named team captain…(2010) Third place in Club Division of Junior Olympic Tournament.
Prep: Lettered three years for Flower Mound Marcus High School…in her senior season, was voted 8-5A first-team all-district, academic all-district, academic all-state, and the team’s defensive player of the year… helped her team to win an outright district championship and appear in the regional finals… during her junior season, she was voted 8-5A second-team all-district, academic all-district, and the team’s defensive player of the year…she guided her team to a co-district championship and a berth in the regional finals…was a member of the English Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta National Math Honor Society, and the Student Council.
Personal: Mary Arlene Koehler was born on March 9, 1993…daughter of Pete and Kim Koehler of Highland Village, Texas…has one sibling: Robert (17)…plans to major in education at St. Edwards with hopes to have a career teaching abroad…enjoys spending time with family and friends, and watching her favorite TV show,
