Junior (2013): Played and started all 62 games at shortstop for the Hilltoppers…the all-region performer finished in the Top-10 in the following categories in the Heartland Conference: batting average, on-base percentage, runs scored, hits, runs batted in, doubles, total bases, hit by pitch, total plate appearances, and at bats…his 79 hits was good enough to lead the conference along with teammate C.J. Manning…recorded four hits, two would come in pivotal situation to help lead the Hilltoppers past Colorado Mesa (05/17/13) at the NCAA DII South Central Regional…added two more hits during the regional championship against Texas A&M–Kingsville (05/19/13)…combined for five hits in his final two outings at the NCAA DII World Series against Grand Canyon (05/29/13) and Minnesota State (05/30/13).
 
Sophomore (2012): Played in 49 games while starting 47 for the Hilltoppers during his first season…had a .312 batting average, while scoring 36 runs and recording 54 hits…he had nine doubles and three homeruns over the course of the season…brought in 28 total runs…really excelled during the NCAA Regional tournament where he was 7-for-16 at the plate with two doubles, a home run and three runs scored.
 
Freshman (UT-San Antonio) (2011): Appeared in four games for the Roadrunners, gaining four at-bats and scoring one run.
 
Prep: Played four years of baseball at Cascia Hall Preparatory in Tulsa, Okla…earned all-metro honors all four seasons…was selected as all-state honorable mention his senior season…that same year he was selected as a Louisville Slugger All-American Honorable-Mention…had a .525 batting average his freshman season and a .505 average his senior season…also lettered in football.
 
Personal: Ransom Royal LaLonde was born on March 4, 1991…son of Chris and Cindy LaLonde of Tulsa, Okla…has one sibling: Nataleigh (19)…currently studying management at St. Edward’s…enjoys playing video games, watching, and cooking…his biggest athletic thrill was winning the state championship with his high school football team.
