Junior (2013): Started in 11 games, while appearing in 12 for the Hilltoppers in his first season…won five games and finished the season with a 2.62 ERA…pitched 65.1 innings and struck out 34 batters…earned his first victory as a Hilltopper against UA-Fort Smith (02/02/2013) where he pitched 8.0 innings and gave up three hits in a 8-0 rout of the Lions.
 
Sophomore (Tyler JC) (2012): Appeared in 16 games for the Apaches, going 8-2 with a 1.67 earned-run average in 91.2 innings of work…struck out 65 batters…named first-team all-America, Academic All-America and was named to the National All-Tournament team…team finished fourth in the nation at the DII JUCO World Series.
 
Freshman (Tyler JC) (2011): Appeared in 18 games, totaling 23.1 innings of work…tallied a 2-2 record with a 4.63 earned-run average and 24 strikeouts…Apaches finished with a 38-12 record and was runner-up at the regional tournament.
 
Prep: Played four years at Georgetown High School…while on the baseball team he was named second-team all-district his senior season…he helped his team win the district title and advance to the state playoffs.

Personal: Cody Anton Ellerbee was born on Oct. 3, 1991…son of Tom and Mindy Ellerbee of Georgetown, Texas…has two siblings: Jared (24) and Brent (18)…has career hopes of becoming a coach…enjoys bow fishing, playing golf, and hanging out with friends…his biggest athletic thrill is winning the Junior National Championship with his summer team, the Austin Wings and making it to the JUCO World Series last season.
