Redshirt Junior (2013): Appeared and started in 18 game this season for the Hilltoppers…led the nation with 14 complete games and was tied for first in the nation with 14 wins…led the team with 132.2 innings pitched and was first on the team and fourth in the conference with a 2.10 ERA…second in the conference with 86 strikeouts…only gave up two triples and three home runs in his 18 appearances…pitched eight innings and led the Hilltoppers to a 5-4 win against Angelo State (05/16/13) during the opening round of the NCAA South Central Regional…three days later, went the distance against regional host, Texas A&M-Kingsville (05/19/13), to again lead St. Edward’s to a 7-1 victory and its first trip to the NCAA DII World Series…again pitched nine innings during the opening round of the NCAA World Series against Grand Canyon (05/26/13)…the Hilltoppers won, 1-0.
 
Redshirt Sophomore (Texas Tech) (2012): Appeared in four games on the mound for the Red Raiders…compiled a 0-1 record with a 7.84 earned-run average in 10.1 innings pitched.
 
Sophomore (Temple JC) (2011): Appeared in four games, earning a 4-0 record with a 2.25 earned-run average…earned a medical redshirt after season was cut short due to injury… was named to the Temple College Academic Honor Roll.
 
Freshman (Temple JC) (2010): Appeared in 20 games on the mound for the Leopards…registered an 9-3 record with a 3.59 earned-run average and 49 strikeouts in 95.0 innings of work…helped lead the team to a 40-24 record, regional championship and a spot in the NJCAA JUCO World Series...was named first-team all-conference and to the Temple College Academic Honor Roll.
 
Prep: Attended A&M Consolidated High School…earned a spot on the all-district first-team as pitcher during his senior season of play… helped his team win district and reach the third round of the playoffs his senior season, while compiling a 9-2 record with a 2.45 earned-run average and 42 strikeouts…also lettered in football where he was selected first-team all-district his senior season after registering a team-best 10 sacks…was a golf letterwinner as well.
 
Personal: William Brannon Easterling was born on Aug. 8, 1990…son of Marty and Darla Easterling of College Station, Texas…has one sibling: Reece (14)…plans to go into the Executive Seminar Series at St. Edward’s…hopes to make a career out of baseball…enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time…his biggest athletic thrill was going to the Junior College World Series.
