Junior (2013): Played in all 62 games while starting in 61 in his first season at St. Edward’s…compiled a batting average of .339, sixth best in the Heartland Conference…registered a conference-best 79 hits, while driving in 44 runs; second-best within the conference…his 79 hits were tied for first in the Heartland Conference with teammate Ransom LaLonde…he also contributed 31 runs scored…finished in the top-10 in the Heartland Conference with a .409 slugging percentage…had a hitting streak of at least one hit through six games two times during the season (02/15 – 02/26/13), (03/10 – 03/16/13)…registered three hits and one RBI during the first game of the NCAA South Central Regional opening game against Angelo State (05/16/13).
 
Sophomore (Howard JC) (2012): Appeared in 22 games for the Hawks, while compiling a .286 batting average with 14 runs scored and seven RBI in 49 at-bats…his team finished with a 45-12 record, a conference championship and ended as runner-up at the regional tournament.
 
Freshman (Howard JC) (2011): Appeared in 25 games for Howard JC, while tallying a .292 batting average, with 17 runs scored and 12 RBI in 65 at-bats…was named to the WCJAC All-Star Team and was selected to the NJCAA Texas-New Mexico JUCO All-Star Team…his team finished 46-13, while winning the conference championship and finishing in second place at the regional tournament.
 
Prep: Was on the Klein Oak High School baseball team for two seasons…was the 2008 honorable mention catcher…recorded a .476 batting average his senior season and was named first-team all-district and to the HABCA All-Houston team as a catcher…won the 2009 Scholar Award and the Heart and Hustle Award.

Personal: Craig Scott Manning Jr. (CJ) was born on Aug. 24, 1991…son of Craig and Theresa Manning of Spring, Texas and Victoria Lambrecht…has two siblings: Gabbie (16) and Taylor (14)…plans to study criminal justice with career hopes of becoming a lawyer or working for the FBI…enjoys hunting, fishing, bowling, and playing golf…his biggest athletic thrill was being named to the NJCAA Texas-New Mexico All-Star Team.
