QUOTE BOARD: HEAD COACH ROB PENDERS
"It's all dependent on the pitching and offense, and we got both in the second game. Ballard (Infante) got us off to a pretty good start, but defensively we didn't help him. The bats got going early, and Austin (Weaver) came in and got the game under control. We're still throwing too many pitches. I don't think that killed us in game one, but defensively we didn't perform."
