Redshirt Freshman-Junior (2014-16) (Texas State): Attended Texas State but did not play.
 
Freshman (2013) (San Jacinto JC): Made four appearances and collected three starts for head coach Tom Harrington at San Jacinto College…produced a 2-2 record with a 3.52 ERA and 17 strikeouts in 15.1 innings pitched.
 
Prep: A three-year letterwinner for head coach Israel De Los Santos at Fort Bend Clements High School…named first-team all-state, first-team all-region and first-team all-district his senior season as he helped lead team to playoffs…also led team to playoffs his sophomore and junior seasons where his sophomore year, the squad reached the state semifinals…had a career record of 11-2 with a 0.95 ERA in high school…also an all-American swimmer.

Personal: Ballard Infante was born April 20, 1994…son of Javier and Cathryn Infante…has one sibling: Nick (17)…plans to major in business administration at St. Edward’s…enjoys basketball and swimming.
