Sophomore (2015) (Navarro JC): Appeared in 34 games for head coach Matt Podjenski at Navarro College…tallied 15 runs scored, one home run and 13 RBI…helped team to a 39-16 record and an Eastern Conference Title.
 
Freshman (2014) (Navarro JC): Appeared in 35 games for head coach Matt Podjenski at Navarro College…batted .275 with 12 RBI and 13 runs scored…helped team to a 32-17 record and an Eastern Conference Title.
 
Prep: Lettered three seasons for head coach Giuseppe Papaccio at Dallas Parish Episcopal School…named all-district his junior and senior season while also being named team captain…won the “Mr. Hustle” (sophomore & junior) and the Golden Glove Awards (senior).

Personal: Luke Hoyl was born Jan. 9, 1995…son of Ron and Kristi Hoyl…has two siblings: Alex (23) and Sydney (11)…plans to major in business administration at St. Edward’s…his biggest athletic thrill was tallying a walk-off hit in the Connie Mack World Series.
