2017 (FRESHMAN):
• Posted a 4-0 record in 14 appearances with one start on the mound for the Hilltoppers.
• Recorded a 2.27 ERA with 21 strikeouts in 31.2 innings-pitched.
• Held opponents to a .152 batting average.
• Pitched five innings of two-run, two-hit baseball against Lubbock Christian in the Heartland Tourney.
 
PREP: Played for head coach Adam Foster at Georgetown High School…went 10-2 with a 1.24 ERA, 55 strikeouts and a .177 batting average against in 68.0 innings pitched as he was named first-team all-district and the district’s most valuable player his senior season…was also named first-team all-Central Texas, All-Centex Newcomer of the Year, and Georgetown High School’s most valuable player…member of the Young Conservatives.

PERSONAL: Austin Emory Weaver was born May 12, 1998…son of Jarrod and Carin Weaver…has one sibling: Mason…plans to major in business management at St. Edward’s…enjoys cars, fishing, hunting and cars…biggest athletic thrill is going toe-to-toe with a first-round draft pick.
