Junior 2015: Made nine starts in 16 appearances for coach Penders…finished the season with 16 wins and nine losses with an ERA of 2.92…pitched 77 innings with three complete games, a shutout, and one save…recorded 40 strikeouts and only nine walks with an opponent batting average of .260…Ended the year ranked third in the conference in walks allowed, fourth in wins, and 10
th in ERA…best outing of the year came at Lubbock Christian (3/27) in a nine-inning win with four strikeouts, no walks, no earned runs…struck out six batters in 5.1 innings against UT-Permian Basin (3/13).

Sophomore 2014: Appeared in five games on the mound in his first season with the Hilltoppers…registered four strikeouts and made an appearance in the regional tournament against TAMU-Kingsville.

Prep: Played three years at Harker Heights HS…his junior season he was named second-team all-district and second-team all-area…his senior season he compiled an 0.86 earned-run average, striking out 46 and walking only 11 in 42.0 innings of relief…was named first-team all-district and first-team all-area…member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Student Council…won the Academic Excellence Award and was named an All-American Scholar all four years…also a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.
Personal: Bryce Allen Davis was born on Oct. 27, 1992…son of Allen and Darla Davis of Harker Heights, Texas…has three siblings: Fawn, Adam, and Andrew…plans to study kinesiology at St. Edward’s with career hopes of becoming a physical therapist and owning his own clinic…enjoys learning about history…his biggest athletic thrill is coming in during a close game and earning the save.
