Junior 2015: Made one start in six appearances for coach Penders…registered four at-bats with one hit and one run scored.
 
Sophomore 2014: Appeared in two games in his first season playing for the Hilltoppers…registered two at-bats on the season.
 
Freshman 2013 (Texas A&M-Corpus Christi): Redshirted his first season at TAMU-Corpus Christi…awarded to the 2011-12 Athletic Honor Roll and Dean’s List.
 
Prep: Lettered two years on the baseball team at Alamo Heights High School…named to the all-district second-team as a shortstop in 2010…recorded .344 batting average and .512 on-base percentage in 2010…named district champions and bi-district champions in 2010…in 2011 earned second-team all-district honors as a second baseman…named the 2011 team captain…increased his batting average to .429 and on base percentage to .560 in 2011…a part of the Campus Life organization and the National Honor Society.

Personal: Nicholas Taylor Lerick was born on Feb. 20, 1993…son of Fred and Sandra Lerick of San Antonio, Texas…has one sibling Luke (24)…plans to study business administration with hopes of playing MLB Baseball…his hobbies include hunting, fishing, playing golf, and wakeboarding…his biggest athletic thrill was hitting two homeruns in his first game of returning from an injury during his senior year.
