St. Edward's Athletics Hall of Fame
Taylor was a four-time First Team All-Conference selection while leading the Hilltoppers to a pair of Heart of Texas Conference Championships and NAIA National Tournament appearances in 1998 and 1999. He remains the SEU all-time career singles winning percentage leader with a .762 win percentage (32-10) and is second all-time in doubles winning percentage (.775) while going 31-9 over his career.
Taylor was a member of the teams that made two NCAA Tournament appearances including advancing to the Sweet 16 in 2000. Additionally, Taylor earned a spot on the CoSIDA Academic All-District team in 2000.
