Hailey Kuempel '15 is on the shortlist for the conversation of the greatest women's golfer in St. Edward's history.
 
In 2014, she became the first SEU women's golfer to earn WGCA First Team All-American honors. She earned Second Team in 2015, Honorable Mention in 2013, and All-Region First Team in 2012 and 2013. She was a four-time qualifier for NCAA Nationals.
 
She is the St. Edward's leader in rounds played (124), scoring average vs. par in a season (3.06), par or better rounds, birdies in a season (73), eagles in a season (two), lowest single-round score (64), lowest 72-hole score (293), most par or better rounds in a career (23) and season (8), and the best individual national championship finish (fourth). Kuempel is second in tournament wins (7) and career lowest scoring average vs. par (4.32).
 
Kuempel is also one of the best women's golfers in the history of the Heartland Conference. She is a four-time All-Heartland Conference First Team honoree, earning Freshman of the Year, and was a two-time Heartland Conference Player of the Year. She twice won the conference championship individual title and led the Hilltoppers to two team conference championships.
