St. Edward's Athletics Hall of Fame
Karl Jauhiainen was a four-year letterwinner for the Hilltoppers from 1983 to 1986. For four-straight years, he captured the Big State Conference doubles titles; was a finalist in the singles competitions; and helped his team take home the Big State Conference team championship. Jauhiainen qualified for the NAIA National Tournament for singles and doubles in each of his four seasons. After graduation, he continued to play, as he was nationally ranked in singles and doubles in the adult tennis associations. He graduated Cum Laude from St. Edward’s in 1986.
