Kim Abbott's name is littered throughout the women's soccer record book, leaving an indelible mark on the program. She is tied for first for most games played on the Hilltop with 82 in her career, is third all-time in career assists (29) and fourth in career points (91).
 
A 2009 NSCAA First Team All-America selection, the first in program history, Abbott still holds the record for assists in a season with 13 and is tied for third all-time in points in a season with 37. Additionally, she was named D2CCA Second Team All-Region twice and NSCAA First Team All-Region twice.
 
Abbott was the Heartland Conference Player of the Year in 2009 while earning three First Team All-Conference selections during her time. She also excelled beyond the pitch, earning CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District honors in 2008 which led to her becoming a finalist for the Heartland Conference for the NCAA Woman of the Year in 2010 while being named SEU Female Athlete of the Year.
 
Abbott was instrumental in the Hilltoppers winning two Heartland Conference Championships while making two NCAA National Tournament Quarterfinal appearances, posting a 63-12-6 overall mark during her time on the Hilltop.
