St. Edward's Athletics Hall of Fame
Kevin Mullins is a 1983 graduate of St. Edward’s. A varsity tennis player, he played singles and doubles and lettered three years. He was team co-captain in 1981, team captain in 1982, team Most Valuable Player in 1982 and 1983, all-conference in 1981, 1982 and 1983, and was ranked 16th in the NAIA National Ranking in 1983. Kevin was head coach for the Indonesian Davis Cup Team and the Indonesian Olympic Team in Seoul in 1988, and has taught and competed in 15 countries. He is also an eight-year member of the Peter Burwash International Tennis Specialists, and was named their Rookie of the Year in 1984. He has coached the Philippine National Junior Players in Manila, been director of the Panorama Resort in British Columbia, and head professional at the Jakarta Hilton in Indonesia. Today Kevin is a senior vice-president for the International Bank of Commerce.
