St. Edward's Athletics Hall of Fame
In 10 seasons as head coach for the St. Edward's Women's Basketball Team, David McKey led the Hilltoppers to eight-straight winning seasons. Of the 10 seasons in his stay, McKey won six conference championships and garnered a .736 winning percentage, the highest in school history. McKey, who owns the most wins in school history, made two NAIA Final Four appearances and three national tournament appearances. McKey's success on the Hilltop was widely recognized as he was awarded the District Coach of the Year three times and the Big State Conference Coach of the Year three times.
