St. Edward's University Athletics

O’Keefe, a 1962 St. Edward’s graduate, came from South Bend, Indiana. While at SEU, he was regarded as the top player for the small college All-American Team and was also on the Knights of Columbus all-conference basketball team. He lettered in basketball and led in scoring with an 18.3 average. O’Keefe received his master’s degree in education at Ball State University in Indiana and was a teacher and assistant varsity coach at Penn High School in Mishawaka, Indiana. He passed away on May 10, 1998.
