St. Edward's Athletics Hall of Fame
Julia Whitacre '17 is a four-year starting midfielder and one of the best defensive players in St. Edward's women's soccer history, earning All-America and Academic All-America Third Team in 2016 and All-America Honorable Mention in 2013. She also earned All-Region honors in all four years, with First Team honors in 2013, 2014, and 2016 and Second Team honors in 2015.

She was one of the best defensive midfielders in Heartland Conference history, with four All-Heartland Conference First Team selections, the 2013 Freshman of the Year, three All-Tournament Teams, including the 2014 Heartland Conference Tournament MVP, and the 2016 Heartland Conference Player of the Year. She was also the 2016 SEU Female Senior Athlete of the Year.

During Julia's tenure, St. Edward's had a 62-13-7 (.799) record, including 37-2-1 (.938) in conference play. Her Hilltoppers won two Heartland Conference Championships and three regular-season titles, earning four NCAA Tournament bids, advancing to the Elite Eight in 2013 and Sweet 16 in 2015.
