St. Edward's University Athletics

T.J. O’Connor, from Elgin, Illinois, graduated from SEU in 1928. As a football player, he was described in the 1925 yearbook: “The two field generals who directed the efforts of this brilliant array of backs were the light but shifty O’Connor, who excelled at snagging passes and running back punts…” O’Connor coached football and basketball at SEU before working for the State. He is deceased.
