Suzy Bayer was named to four-straight All-Conference teams from 1995 to 1998. She was an all-region performer and NAIA All-American three times during her time on the Hilltop. Bayer is the all-time leader in assists (6,102) and assists per set (11.43). She was also a three-time Academic All-Conference honoree and two-time Academic All-America selection. Bayer was awarded SEU Female Athlete of the Year in 1998. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1998 and received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech in 2003.
