St. Edward's Athletics Hall of Fame
A four-year letterwinner in baseball and three-year letterwinner in baseketball, Schneider was named first-team all-Big State Conference (Baseball-1960, 1961) and second-team all-Big State Conference (Men’s Basketball-1962-63, 1963-64). In 1962-63, he was named St. Edward’s Athlete of the Year. He helped lead the Hilltopper Men’s Basketball team to a Big State Conference Championship in 1963-64. He was a member of the St. Edward’s Honor Court his freshman, sophomore and senior years. In 1963-64, Schneider was the Student Activities Council Vice President and was honored as St. Edward’s Man of the Year.
