St. Edward's University Athletics

Charlie Popp graduated from St. Edward’s in 1959. He played forward and center on the St. Edward’s basketball team for four years. He lettered four years in basketball, was on the All Big State Conference freshman team, was 1959 Man of the Year, and president of the Indiana Club and the Letterman Club. He received the CYO-St. John Bosco Medal and was president of the West Clark County School Board. Today, Popp lives in Sellersburg, Indiana with his wife, Ilona, and daughter, Sonja. Popp enjoys fishing, wood making, golfing and traveling.
